OLY SCHOLARSHIP
FUND
The OLY Scholarship Fund was officially
established in 2004. This scholarship fund is for swimmers with serious
financial needs.
To make a tax deductible donation to the
Scholarship Fund:
Mail a check made out to OLY, to OLY Scholarship Fund, 3128 Walton Blvd. #123,
Rochester Hills, MI 48309. Write Scholarship Fund in the memo portion of your
check.
You may designate a specific swimmer with your contribution. Write a note
with your check telling which swimmer and if you would like to remain
anonymous or if you would like that swimmer to know you made a contribution in
their name. That money will be used for that swimmer as long as they are with
OLY. If that swimmer leaves OLY any balance will be put in the general
scholarship fund.
To apply for a
scholarship:
If your family has had a recent
severe hardship and is in serious financial need you may explain your
situation in writing to the OLY Board of Directors. A subcommittee of
the Board will review your paperwork and decide if OLY Scholarship funds will
be distributed. Each case is looked at on an individual basis and will
be kept strictly confidential.
