Community Service Information

Hey Gang the 2008-2009 Season has Started and we are now setting up opportunities for you to get your volunteer credits!  At this time, we will continue with the goal of 5 service credits for any senior blue swimmer who is of high school age.  A formal letter will be distributed at the beginning of the short course season, but I wanted to let you know of our summer opportunities.

May 3rd - Farmer's Market - 8-10 swimmers requested for two shifts:  8-10AM 5 swimmers, 10-12PM 5 swimmers.  We have been brought back by popular demand because of the fabulous job you kids did last summer.  THANKS SO MUCH!!  The jobs will be assisting the vendors with set-up, carrying packages to cars for the customers, possibly blowing up balloons for the kids and other general assist type of activities.  Please e-mail Mrs. Ek if you are able to assist on that day as we need to forward the names/phone numbers to the people at the Rochester DDA.  I need a parent to monitor the activities this day as I have my youngest's First Communion on this day.  Please e-mail if you are available.
**Note - this will be considered an excused absence from practice for those participating (per Coach Cooper).
